The Productive (“we,” “our,” “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website www.the-productive.com (the “Site”). Please read this policy carefully to understand our views and practices regarding your personal data and how we will treat it.

1. Information We Collect

We may collect and process the following data about you:

  • Contact form: When you submit the form on our Contact page we collect your first and last name, email address, an optional phone number, and the message you write. These are sent to us by email through Web3Forms, a third-party form-delivery service, and are not stored in a database on this Site.
  • Server logs: This Site is hosted by Vercel, which records standard technical request data such as IP address, browser type, and the pages requested. We do not use these logs to identify individual visitors.
  • Cookies: This Site sets no cookies of its own and uses no advertising or tracking cookies. See section 3.
  • Analytics: We record which pages are opened and which links and buttons are clicked, together with the technical details that arrive with any web request — your approximate location, browser, and device type. None of it is stored on your device and none of it is attached to your name. See section 3.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect in the following ways:

  • To Communicate with You: We use the contact details you give us to reply to your enquiry and to continue that conversation. We do not add you to a mailing list (there is no newsletter) and we do not send marketing you have not asked for.

Retention and Your Rights

Enquiries are kept in our email account for as long as needed to answer them and to keep a record of the conversation, and are deleted when they are no longer needed. You can ask us at any time what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Write to the address in section 8 and we will action it.

3. Cookies and Analytics

This Site sets no cookies. It is a set of static pages with no login, no shopping basket, no advertising network, and no cross-site tracking, so there is nothing for a cookie to remember. That is also why you are not asked to dismiss a cookie banner.

We do use analytics. PostHog records which pages are opened and which links and buttons are pressed, which is how we learn what people actually read and where they give up. It is set up to leave nothing behind on your device — no cookie, no browser storage.

That choice costs us something, and we made it anyway: because nothing is stored, each visit reaches us as a new visitor. We cannot tell that you have been here before, cannot follow you from one visit to the next, and cannot follow you onto any other site. We do not build a profile against your name or email address, and screen recording is switched off, so what you type and what is on your screen are never captured.

4. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information. Three service providers process data on our behalf: Web3Forms, which delivers contact-form submissions to us by email, Vercel, which hosts the Site and keeps standard server logs, and PostHog, which provides the analytics described in section 3. We share information with them only so they can provide those services, and with nobody else unless the law requires it.

5. Security of Your Information

We use administrative, technical, and physical security measures to help protect your personal information. While we have taken reasonable steps to secure the personal information you provide to us, please be aware that despite our efforts, no security measures are perfect or impenetrable, and no method of data transmission can be guaranteed against any interception or other type of misuse.

6. Third-Party Websites

Our Site may contain links to third-party websites and services that are not owned or controlled by us. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of these third-party websites. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party websites you visit.

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time in order to reflect changes to our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
